A STORY OF COLOUR & FREEDOM
More than 18 years ago, I left Latvia for London. I was young, curious, and had no idea where that journey would take me.
A few years later, a trip to India changed the way I saw colour. I discovered the beauty of craftsmanship — women creating pieces by hand, bringing colours and patterns together with an instinctive sense of freedom. There was something deeply human and genuine about it. I wanted to bring that feeling into my own world.
That is how Ombré London began.
What started with a love of colour gradually grew into a brand. But the idea behind Ombré has always remained deeply personal to me. I believe that what we wear can change the way we feel — that colour can give us confidence, a sense of freedom, or sometimes simply bring a little joy into our day.
For me, Ombré has never been just about scarves. It is about women, and the many different sides we carry within us. We change. We can contradict ourselves. We can be bold one day and quiet the next. And I believe there is something beautiful in having the freedom to be all of those things.
